Old man who refuses to grow up, thats me.
I always loved things mechanical but never had a mini bike so its time now.
I was talking to my son who works in a scrapyard about mini bikes and gokarts and one day he picked one up at work and gave it to me.
I 'm going to try and fix it up and break my neck on it like the old woman said I would.

I will have to get more pics of the one without engine but here are acouple of another mini bike he got me, it runs but needs somw work on the controls and need a seat.
The other pic is of my old 30 Ford coupe I been fooling with since I had to quit working.I don't think I'll ever get it done.

I couldn't work where he works, I would be bringing everything I saw home!
I think he gets tired of me calling him at home and asking what interesting things he saw at work.

Some yards won't sell scrap to the public,I buy pipe and tubing and some sheet metals from the yards. Some are afraid to sell to hobbyist for projects fearing being sued if your project causes injury or worse.
Try to get to know the yard manager, it might help you be able to buy scrap pieces.
