I wonder what type of spikes they were using.

Looked like a perfect little corner to go out and run and have a blast.

They must have spikes in the tires.......
I think it says it is a frozen pond or lake in California.

Ohh yes they have to have spikes to hold that well on the ice.......but what kind?

The big ice racers use spikes that are down right scary looking.

These are a bit smaller and looks about like some I have used before.

I have these on my plow tractor and they work great I also have used something very similar years ago on my blaster tires for running on ice.

The tractor on the right has 168 per tire of 1/2x#10 hex head sheet metal screws in each tire and it took about an hour to do, I didnt care about these tires and needed traction so in went the screws, it works very very well.
