card could be going bad.. but I've never seen someones video card shot in just a year. try updating the drivers, if it's ATI you need catalyst control and if it's Nvidia you'll need to know the series to download the right software. But could also be that the flashplayer software got corrupted somehow and all you need to do is update THAT...

you probly just need to download and install the newest version of Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X. thats what makes you able to see the videos. Try searching google for Latest version of FlashPlayer and install it. you probly have to delete the old version, and download and install the new one. Then restart the computer. It should work. If not, then it might be something internal which I doubt since it's basically a new computer. It has to be something with the software.

here ya go - Flash Player Free Download - Always Downloads . what you have to do is save the file to your desktop. then go into the control panel and into programs and features and delete the old Adobe 10 active x if you have it, then restart the comp. Then double click on the new Active X icon on the desktop and install it. you may have to restart after you download, but that should do it! if that don't work,

Is it set to auto-update if so it may have updated in the background without you even knowing it and something wasnt compatible with flash player.

I'm guilty of looking at porn........resturant porn mostly I just like to load up a good online menu from some fancy resturant and drool at all the perfect looking meals they offer.
Some of the stuff is so wild and interesting but I'd never try it because I know deep down, I'm a steak and potato's kind of guy.

Ohh sometimes I hit the nasty greasy spoon diners/coney spots if I'm looking for something wild/funky.

First thing to try is a restart! amazing how many times that fixes.

then restore to an earlier time (like a week or 2 ago) assuming some update or patch hosed you.

then you can also try updating things like Flash, that actually is needed to do video type stuff for websites.

does youtube play videos from their actual website??

power off the computer. Unplug from power source. Wait a few minutes, plug in power, turn on. DO NOT TOUCH ! Let the computer power up and fix itself. If that doesn't work, tie one end of a rope around the Gateway, and the other end to a boat. I had a Gateway that had way to many problems. Not a fan. Good luck.
