New England 100ft Minibike Drag Racing

I have no idea where he was from, his bike was pretty fast, we beat him but only by like a bike or so.

Thanks for the kind words, yeah it's like a tenth faster than last year, we finally put a proper carb on the bike and there's a lot of test & tune time spent also. I'm not sure how much more we can get out of that bike lol.
I heard that for next year they want to add a modified class to be in between the slower bikes and unlimited class, I think it's a good idea.

Massacre, I'm not sure we met. I brought three bikes. I was with my brother in-law (yellow Sensation w/predator), friend (flat black bike red handlebars w/predator, and my slime green bike with shamrock on it. I didn't win a single race but had a blast.

OK I think I know who you are now. When I'm there I'm mostly concentrating on our bike and how we are running and timing the runs, usually I meet everyone at the steak fry but it ran late this year so not a lot of people hung around.

So I am planning to build my own bike for next year, my Dad and I built his bike and it has been really successful, winning the street class the last 3 consecutive times.
The only thing is I'm not sure of what the rules will be since they will be adding a new class and I would obviously like to know the rules before I build my bike lol.

As soon as anyone gets any info on the new rules, could you please let me know?
Thanks guys!

Hey Dave,
I'm glad to hear you will be returning next year, your bike was plenty fast and you made it to the semi finals your first time out. I have a feeling we'll all be chasing quick01ss though LMAO.

Dave, that was you that got me in the end? I had the blue "fighter plane" bike. My damm wheelie bar came loose and sent me sideways on our last race and my leg choked out the carb! I want my rematch next year! What engine is in your bike? That thing was quick!

Yeah; That was me ,I think one of your friends asked if I had any nuts, bolts etc. as your wheelie bar had come loose I told him I saw a hitch clip in the LH lane at the start line, don't know if you found it???I own zombieheadservice.....My Engine....ah stock pred w/a mikuni LOL

Ok Monte I know exactly who you are now, I love that Air Force bike:thumbsup:
And it's fast too!

And that hitch clip was from our bike, luckily I made the wheelie bars fit nice and tight when I welded them up. To be honest I think the fact that the track got moved down was a factor. The track was angled slightly uphill and was wreaking havoc with our wheelie bars, my Dad was getting really loose on the big end, I think the hill was unloading the rear wheel slightly due to our non-adjustable bars. Those bars have been on the bike for like 3 years and never had a problem. We lost a clevis pin but were able to still race, we got lucky and the bars stayed put lol.

Thanks! Your dads bike was hauling ass this year. What did you guys change at the end of the day? I saw everyone scrambling after the final race.

Thanks, after the finals we drained the pump gas from the tank & bowl, changed jets, and added some race fuel we had experimented with. My Dad wanted to run the unlimited bikes lmao.
A guy we know drag races a Gixxer, he told us about a certain fuel he used where he lost ET and gained MPH in the 1/4. When we tested it, it was visually obvious the bike made more power lol. Street class rules are pump gas only, so we ran the pump gas for the street class, then drained that and added the fuel for the unlimited class, but only at the end, since we didn't want to be changing jets between every round.

Our bike is fast, true, but to be honest I think the reason is the rider more than the bike, my Dad is super fast in anything he rides/drives. The bike is really nothing special just a great combination of parts, there's nothing hidden you've all seen the bike lol.

gx 440 mini bike

Hi i am the guy with the 440 , wish i could of made it on time but we finished it at noon and it broke a rocker stud on the breakin hit , took 2.5 hrs to get it fiqured out and fixed. I would have liked to catch up people and see what was happening, but no time to test or bullshit being so late. I am in the taunton area would like to catch up and see about more racing.
