Hey. Cool site! Name is Hog.

I've decided to upgrade to minibikes from choppers. I just bought an old (15 +/- yr.) Manco "Thunderbird".

I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall so I'd like to add a rear swing arm to stretch out some. I have a new harbor Freight 212 engine.

I'm looking for ideas and motivation; I've seen a lot of both here on this site.

Lots of good ideas.

I got a lot of good ideas looking at ya-all's thunderbirds. My swing arm is going to get the rear wheel back further than I've seen yet. Seat extension/raising a must, triple tree risers and drag bar instead of apes....just thinking out loud before bed. I know the frame will need added rigidity and boxing.

Harbor freights having 25% off all day Easter if you have the super coupon they've been passing out. I just bought a 212 predator last week and was going to take it back or just the receipt to get my 25%.

Has anyone put a 346cc or 420 cc predator on a bird or is there just not enough space to shoehorn either in?
