New old toy

Been looking for something to blow snow with for awhile now.The old plow truck is on it's last leg and plowing sucks. It just isn't the best way to move snow and makes a mess.Looked at many new and used compact tractors with blowers and really just didn't want to spend 20-40 grand for one.Ended up finding this '90's Gravely with a 5 ft blower and a 6 ft mower.Really nice shape with a 36 hp Yanmar diesel engine.Cab is homemade but whoever made it did a decent job.Had to try it out yesterday even though the snow was really wet and heavy.Should bust through powder really nice. Now that Jr has been mowin' the grass he can take care of the snow too.
Got it from a guy that kinda collects the old Gravely's.I'm looking to replace our riding mower too and he's got some really nice older Gravely's that are built like tanks that I could get for way less then the new crap that is out on the market now.

Ha..awesome although I'm glad I don't need one ! Everything operates hydraulically? What is missing from the mower deck is there an optional 3rd blade ?

the whole machine is all hydrostatic Gerry.really heavy duty, deck alone weighs 500 lbs
the third motor for the deck operates the blower right now, just need to unbolt from that and bolt it on the deck to make the switch

thanks karen

We've had the mower deck on for awhile now.
Trevor can mow the lawn, track and all the trails on our compound in just about the same time it took to cut just the lawn with the old rider.
Better yet I don't have to cut grass any more
