So I ordered the Upgrade kit#1 which includes the new header muffler, emulsion tube, and air filter. When I tried to thread the muffler in to the header, it wouldn't fit. I studied the threading on both, and the Taiwan-made muffler looked to have some flaws at the very beginning of the threading.
So I called OldMiniBikes, and they sent me a new one for free. Awesome! Right???
Not awesome. The new one will not thread on either. These threads look fine this time, but with a bench vise, and two pairs of channel locks, I cannot get the damn thing to thread together at all. Not even an 1/8 of a turn!
Am I missing something here???? Should I have gone with someone else's kit?
