This Guy James Trent from Kingsport Tennesee is still around and doing business,I did my part with the Kingsport Police .They filed a report and said it was passed onto the Federal level because its a Felony of how he was obtaining money,Several people from OldMiniBikes members and Ebay members also came forward. Updated August -29th-2023
I said this once and hope it doesn’t get people fired up because me talking about it again isn’t as bad as nothing being done about it. People were working close with there friends in the police force months ago to get this guy to stop scamming in the scout forums.. He got one scout member for a good amount of cash. local cops don’t have time to go after someone in a completely different state. There is one way and one way only scamming will for the most part stop and that’s when we all start using buyer/seller protected apps for payment.

Rick C.

Sorry, do not understand your post. Clicked the link you posted and selected "Received as Seller" and it does indeed show 14 feedbacks for people who bought stuff from him and were happy.

It is not Buyer Feedback that we need, it is Seller feedback that we want to see. He has some.

Regardless this itself is not unusual from a scammer, they start out well, get people to buy successfully to gain trust and then set the hook for a transaction offline for a bigger bite and some people fall for it.
Personally do not tend to buy large cash items unseen unless have done business in person in the past.

Hope they catch the prix or Karma gets his azz.
Later,
Keith

Just a word of warning, Well its happened again but this time alot of $$$ involved,The buyer or seller names is James Trent who lives in Kingsport Tennesee.
He is a full blown scammer. As usual I use Paypal I sent the money several times (As A Friend) Big mistake I purchased 2 bikes a Rupp TT-500 and a Bonanza
BC-1200, From the pictures I received they both looked mint.I also purchased a bunch of additional parts. It took a month after I paid to receive the bikes right off the bat saw damaged parts and parts missing.I contacted him immediately ,He blamed the USHIP driver (A Girl) but said he would take care of it, its going ons 3 months,I haven't received a thing.I also haven't received any parts I paid for.He also purchased a Lil Indian that was on Ebay the one with the Gold Motor.I recently contacted that seller through ebay to get some original pics of that bike. The seller told me that James also burned him for the $1500, James went return calls or messages. So now I am forced to file charges against him. He is a Con Man and a Crook.I have all the proof in case I need it to move forward. His phone # that he uses is 423-429-4299. If your selling anything he will call or text you, to set you up. Be Careful.
If you frequently encounter fraudsters, you might end up losing all your money. That's why I've become more cautious when it comes to online payment methods. Once, I wanted to play some gambling games that I could fund using Ilixium. To steer clear of scammers, I opted for https://casinosanalyzer.com/online-casinos/ilixium, which also provides a promo code. It's quite reliable. I hope that someday we'll have something similar for online shopping, leading to fewer and fewer encounters with fraudsters.
Thank you for the warning, I hope now less people will come across this scammer.
