whats the best jet for a 6.5 clone with header no gov and uni filter?

Did you try running the engine with the mods and not re-jetting? I have the same setup you have and until I changed the jet the engine would hardly run.

the motor is brand new never ran, its just "mocked up". thanks for the info i will use it.

Drill the main jet with a #65 drill (.035")

This will give you a #89 main jet. It works fine on my 6.5 w/the uni filter and header

Stock carbs, or aftermarket carbs a #90 main jet size seems to work best for a 6.5hp motor. If it doesn't you can't be to far off.
