I sent them a message. What did that seat cost ya?

I forget what their rate is for shop time. Not cheap! I provided the wood base and the foam. $175. Pleating and piping are extras, and pushed his time into a second hour.

You won't be disappointed. I have history with them in the marine trades (yachts). They are the go-to folks.

You're better off going somewhere else. Upholstery shop can do the same for less $$$.

I have a hard time making the math of spending more redoing a seat than I have in the rest of the minibike work...

No knock on the value of fine craftsmanship though! Maybe I should buy a sewing machine.

You can always make the wood base to fit the frame and send a couple photos. I don't get into any custom seats so It would be black with pleated top.

You should have Karen do it. I had my 400 TS done here locally, nice job, just not intimately acquainted with mini bike seats. Cost me more money when all said and done too.

Ive been lucky enough that Karen has done 8 or so seats for me, been really happy with every one of them!

I had a local guy do my seats. Price ranged from $60-$100. Any color stitching, any color piping. I would imagine it would be the same at any local upholstery shop.

Perhaps so. To be fair, Mac's is located in overpriced/over-rated Seattle. I chose to do business locally. It is what it is.
I certainly hope you are not in their situation/location.

As for myself, I'm outta here in a matter of months. Wish me well in semi-retirement.
