Hey Skipp, do you have a battery shopped yet? I'm working on my own engine with electric start and if my engine might have to be on the easy-to-start side, otherwise I could see wearing down the charge before its ready to turn over. Still not even sure what the starter will draw for amps, but looking at this one from "anti-gravity". Seems popular.

A friend of mine had several sportster batteries that were turned in for warranty….they were good I guess….the one I have is still in warranty according to the sticker..lol!!
