I have bought original ones for 50-100 bucks in this area that are usually on the frames...so price isn't it to me. That's why I ask...maybe something I am not seeing in the pics that makes it better....so DUH to you!:facepalm:
the caliper half that goes between the sprocket and wheel is made out of steel instead of aluminum so there is much less flex , thus a much strong brake setup
