RIP Glen Campbell

He was one of my favorites even as a kid, he waged a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease and was an inspiration for many showing the ravages it took on him and him and his wife shared it with us which took courage and grace. He will be missed. RIP Mr. Campbell

RIP indeed ... prior to his solo career he was with "The Wrecking Crew" .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wrecking_Crew_(music)

They were the band in the 60's ... they played the music for more songs that you would ever guess ...
Pet Sounds was the Beach Boys right? Nope!!

Look up their biography on Netflix! (Muscle Shoals too!)

Glen had more of an influence on music than you might have thought ...

Again , RIP Glen

I tip my hat to a very talented fellow. Always remember him in the original True Grit with the Duke and loved that song the Wichita Lineman. Rip Glen.

I remember my Dad showing me the Phil Spector Wall of Sound lineups and telling me how many big stars they played for both live and in the studio, Dad was a big fan. The man was a legend and he was a huge part of the music scene. And yeah Muscle shoals is a magic place has been for many musicians from many genres. Glen Campbell was perhaps one of the best guitar players to ever live.
