RLV gold on black chain, any users?

Just got some Rlv gold on black chain

was wondering if you guys use the master links it comes with or connect them with a chain tool? I have a chain tool, but don't know if the master link is necessary, thanks.

masterlinks not necessary.just reconnect it with the chain breaker.

We use the master link that comes with the RVL chain, however, as already (correctly) posted, you CAN connect it w/o a master link. A "head's up", however: If you elect to use a master link you MUST use the "special" RVL master link. You cannot use a "regular" # 35 master link, as the RVL # 35 chain is slightly wider.
