getting close to finding all my missing parts, but not sure what i need

i need a comet? clutch, also belt
and chain idler? i assume they had one?

what clutch do i need and belt? part numbers?

its a 3hp briggs

How about some pics of your mini. That would help us help you. Sounds like you may have the model with a tav? Are you restoring it back to original?

There is already a LOT of information in previous discussions on this forum about Sears Ropers! Perform a search on the "Project Logs" topic section using the search words "Sears Roper Project" and you will find a couple of very detailed, complete, and education threads posted by other members who completely restored these unique bikes. If you are interested in the 2-speed set up (they are REALLY cool!), the project log posted by "The Ruppster 86" is especially helpful. (yes, that is a shameless plug as he is my son!):laugh:
