I have a Rotax 185 that I'd like to trade for parts, bikes, other engines, etc...
I have never run the engine. Looks to be in good shape. Currently has a big hub on it to run a propeller. I need to get that off to check out out the shaft. The part of the shaft I can see looks to be about 1 1/4" (near the seal). Has a big Mikuni carb...
If you are interested, I have pics and can get measurements. Its about 13+ inches tall.

I'm trying to figure out what I could do with such an engine... looks like it came from an Ultralight Aircraft or Powered parachute maybe.

Is it a complete running motor?
Does it have the pull start?
Need measurements as well
Need pictures from all sides

I have to dig around and see if I have the pull start. I know I have one, but dont know if its for this engine.
I will take it to work today and pull the hub off the shaft, and also try to get the coil hooked up and see if its working.
Supposedly it was a running engine when I got it....yrs ago.

I HAVE THE RECOIL START.
Its not rope, its steel cable that is really long, meant for remote starting on a plane. Can be cut down to work like a regular pullstart.
Its going on ebay if no one here wants it.
No longer interested in trades. $200 firm as-is.
