Are black widows the only typos that came with 28 spoke rims.
Any other stand alone info would help. As far as what makes them different from the other 12" wheel rupps.

Rupp used 24 spoke and 28 spoke on all bikes in '71. May have been from 2 vendors. Brandt hansons original black widow had one 24 spoke and one 28 spoke. 28 spokes only on black widows is not true. They used both type.

There is really no stand alone differences. The main features that set the black widow apart were the motocross tires, the Delorto ua19s carburetor, the straight pipe exhaust, and no lights obviously. However if you are wondering if you have a genuine Black Widow, the second digit of the serial number will be a 2.
