Rupp Fender 1971-up ?

I bought this fender on Ebay a while back. Surprise, surprise, it's not a 1970 like I was told. I'm pretty sure this is a 1971 and up. The overall chrome looks good, with very light pocking all over. There are a few tiny dents coming from the underside, but they should be easy to tap out. The underside of the fender is rusty on about 75%. Some will likely clean up, some is probably pitted.

Can you post a pic of the bottom of the fender. I might be able to use this for the trike.

Yeah, it's rusty but isn't separating in layers or anything. If I had used it for my bike, I planned on painting the underside to make it less obvious that it was rusted.

I took a soft wire cone brush to the one side to see how nicely they would clean up, and all of the rust comes off, but the chrome isn't in the best condition. I would definitely recommend some paint on the underside

Looks like its about 4-5" wide. Is that about right?
