The Sacramento Cycle Swap Meet, held at the West Wind Drive In, is an “All Brands” event with over 100 vendors and over 500 bikes for show and sale. Riders and collectors from all ends of the bike hobby, including Harley, cruisers, choppers, vintage, British, race, Off-Road, Japanese, Euro, and bicycles get together to buy, sell, trade, show off, and talk about new, used, and vintage parts and accessories. From professional shops and manufacturers liquidating excess inventory to the hobbyist selling off leftovers from his latest project, you can find smokin’ deals on hard to find parts and accessories. Ride out and park your Bike in the Bike Corral or get a vendor space and unload those old parts from your garage.

Admission is not free to this, unless you are able to ride in on a motorcycle. If you try to walk up to enter, an armed security guard will escort you away. I know this because I tried to walk up one half hour before closing just to see what I missed.

Just got home from this one...

Well, the 100 sellers and 500 bikes turned out to be maybe 50 sellers and 25 bikes. Still, there was 1 minibike there, and a cool one.... a Trojan. Similar to this one...

but this one had the springs on the leading link fork behind the fork, and they were extension springs... exrended under use rather than compressed. Bike looked real nice... abot a 7 out of 10. The guy wanted 400, I offered 2... he stuck on 3 & I headed off to the Lockeford Meat Co. for some sausage.

Was a good time.

The one at the swap meet was a lot nicer, had a copper briggs.

Maybe I should have jumped on it?
