Someones calling the cops

Don't you hate it when the Crabby neighbors around you always have to ruin the fun. I was out riding today just around the block a few times. I was obeying traffic laws, and wasn't rookie racing around, had a helmet on and was being nice to other vehicles driving.
Yet still someone has to call the cops and try to get my mini taken away. I just want to find out who did it and pay there front lawn a visit.

I want to know if i am the only one that has to deal with this crap on a daily basis.

The trenching of the neighbors yard will only escalate things and build resentment and get the cops more involved! If you find out who it was just have a diplomatic conversation with them and explain that you are not causing them harm by riding respectfully! My neighbors are cool, even the retired cop across from the lot I own and have built a track on! I ride every day in the streets around my neighborhood and get compliments and thumbsup all the time! Some neighbors can just be :asshole:s who have nothing better to do! You could avoid riding past the house if you find out who it is. Or just keep riding and risk contact with the cops, try riding for a short time and see if they show up. Time how long it takes and just time your rides to the second and park it! I know the cops so I dont have to deal with such issues, sorry that you do! I love street riding! Good luck and dont make things worse for yourself!:thumbsup:

i must agree with supernova trenching of the neighbors yard will NOT AND I DO MEAN NOT end well for you . how loud is your mini ? i know mufflers are not as cool as strait pipe and headers but they do make it much easier to drive around and not be heard by the the people who complain about minis and such . look at it this way you are the punk kid and there the adult so you loose . sorry kid its how it goes . im not trying to be mean , i have had to deal with a jack ass or 2 before .its like the town i live in the kid on the other side of town (very small town )has a trike he built out of a riding mower and every time he starts the thing the cops get called and have to drive out here and talk to him .his toy is so loud that i can hear it a half mile away or more .now my mini is soo quiet that you cant hear it , i sneak up on people with it and no one calls the cops on me . i ride around town at 2:00 am and no one knows about it .

I know everybody is thinking in their heads it was TT that called the cops...lol NOT!

Find out who it is? Put a 1967 Corvette on Craigs List for $15,000 with a 427 rat motor 4-speed, new paint and their phone number and they will get call after call on the cheap Vette...OK?

TT that's just mean, just think of all the guys and girls out there losing thier minds trying to reach the alleged seller thinking the deal of the century is just a phone call away! What a diabolical mind you have TT, remind me not to piss you off!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I don't know what motor you mini has but at one time the professional gardeners all used what was then called a Hospital Quiet Muffler. I don't recall a part number as that was 35 years ago.

are you running a header? If so put the stocker back on. It wont make much difference on power loss. but your neighbors will be happier.

You can run a chain saw all day long, no problems. That's work noise. But start a motor on a mini, or rc airplane or car and you got problems. Some people can't stand "fun noise". It iritates them that someone is enjoying life, while they stare out their window with their tired-ass worn out bodies and minds, realizing they have accomplished nothing but becoming a bitter old non-achieving, wrinkle balled sacks of crap, with grown kids that don't call home, and a tired dog that can fart better than they can, while they sit in misery sucking on metamucil holding their heads waiting for the end to come. Whew! :blink: I'm going for a ride now.:scooter:

I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. but still a muffler is the way to go. make it as quite as you can in the city. I use to run headers and expansion chambers un corked when I was a kid, but had no prob. when they were silenced.

:thumbsup: I didn't want to end up like that so I went and started a new family. Now I can start the fun sh:censure:it all over again.

Hey Carson, I see you're from California and that fits perfectly with my solution to your crabby neighbor problem. You've got to have a freeway or an expressway somewhere near where you live. Take your minibike over and run it on the freeway. That way you can run your ass off, and go like a bat out of hell, and no one will give a shit. Your crabby neighbors will be happy and you'll be happy. Problem solved. And if by some chance you would happen to get flattened by an eighteen wheeler....WTF. At least your crabby neighbors would still be happy the rest of us could celebrate because the world would have one less a$$*#!* in it. Ogy

many years ago where I lived there was a women that would call the cops any time I took a ride down the street on the minibike. One night someone dumped a bag full of feathers out of a down pillow on her porch right before it rained,it kept her busy for weeks trying to scrape them up off the concrete and bricks. Now I'm in no way encouraging any of you to do anything like that,just relaying what "someone" did over 37 years ago. And try one of those oval briggs low tone mufflers
