suspension spring luberication?

#1
I am getting ready to assemble a Fox Condor and I don't know which would be better lube for the front fork guides?
Lithium lube or regular axle grease?
Any help would be great

I Thank you buckeye said the same thing.
I was concerned because when I took the forks a part the grease felt hard and caked.

That's normal. Due to age it has congealed. Just clean it up good and puts some axle grease in. 50 years from now it will congeal again.

True words of wisdom. I just took apart an old Bonanza, and I think the fork bushings have not seen lube since before 1969.... Caked.

Wow did they still work at all?
Mine felt sluggish,
but then I wasn't sure if it was from the bad lube or the dead coil springs?
My coil springs one was broken and both were a 1/2 inch shorter then they should have been
