Suzuki RV90 Dead Spot in Throttle

#1
Hey guys I'm new to this forum but I've used it as a reference for practically everything I've done and there are some great guys on here! I have a 72 Suzuki RV90 VanVan that runs great, except for one thing, about half way through the throttle it seems to have a dead spot. I will be accelerating (though any gear) and the bike literally acts like I'm off the throttle half way through. As I proceed to turn the throttle the bike seems to hiccup and keeps accelerating. It runs as it should at idle, minimal throttle, and full throttle. I cleaned my main jet hoping to find something clogging it but it was clear. Then I took out the Pttf foam at the bottom of the motor housing and wring it out. This helped the problem but it still seems to have a dead spot. Any other ideas?

Did you pull the stinger out of the exhaust and clean it? Heat it up with a torch, and clean it really well with a wire brush. If the exhaust is constricted, it can cause some odd issues.
