Today's Swapmeet Treasures.........

OK, Today (Thursday) is the second day of the week I visit a local Swapmeet.
This is what I bought today:

1. Bug Humbug same model frame as stolen one - cost $60.
2. Folding gokart dollie - cost $45.
3. Some kind of Midget front axle - cost $10.

The pictures below are the same kart frame above after a few hours cleanup:

....Now I don't feel so bad about losing the first.

It may come back,MAC!
I just got my custom MB bike back. We found a guy just riding down the street on it. He said he had bought it for $40. I said to him he should have known. Each tire cost $50.
I told him to wait so I could call the cops. Man on man....that boy could run!
Got my bike back!
I am getting some of those WIFI cameras. For the yard.
Amazon.com: Wireless IP Pan/Tilt/ Night Vision Internet Surveillance Camera Built-in Microphone With Phone remote monitoring support(Black): Camera & Photo

Cheers
bullhead

It was a, Mountain Bicycle. One of a kind. So it was a little hard to hide.
Some people are just :censure: stupid.......for stealing in the first place. Then using it in the area it was stolen! Also if he BOUGHT it, he should of had a bill of sale so the cops might hassle him at first for receiving. But if he really was unaware, would at least look a lot better than running away.... Grats on getting it back.

Mac still hoping you can come to a positive resolution, and man that Cart cleaned up good!

Seems like a few people have been getting five-finger discounted recently....

Paid my friend $80.00 for it.

hey mac any new treasures or did you buy everything ...lol bill
I must've purchased all the good stuff already.
There hasn't been anything worth buying in quite awhile now.
Just the average beatup, ugly $100 gokarts, but there's no
money to be made on steel wheeled karts.

I certainly haven't stopped looking, I have people flying in from
way out of town for my Minibike Yardsale on September 15th
and I'll need some fresh odds-n-ends for them to carry back home.

Next decent Swapmeet isn't until July 29th now, that's a terrible long
wait for a guy like me.................

Yes, just like taco bill(and I am sure MANY others), The Ruppster and I wait with eager anticipation for your "Swapmeet Treasures" updates Rick (Mac)-they are addicting! We start having withdrawal symptoms when we haven't had our "fix" (your updates) for awhile!:scared:

Randy, I suppose you know that's a pretty rare Arco built bike. If the tank stem was good $100 would be a good buy overall repaired frame and all to me but I like odd stuff. Those forks I've seen only one other time on that frame, the others had the Bushwhacker forks. I love that bike and may have been tempted to buy or make an offer. Just a cool and rarely seen Alexander Reynolds bike, had to point it out. You got a great looking homemade machine there, should be cool to build.
