the taco 44 with the round tube swing arms. how did the factory assemble these? an exploted view would be nice.

looks like bearing faceing outward-bearing inward back to back. no washer no spacer? just back to back snap ring sides? that is the way I was going to do it. was not sure. if any body has any other imput will be app. thanks for your imput jtg. also need to check the numbers could be a 66. havent touched it yet.

You can tell if it was a 66 or 44 from the serial number?

Yes I know. thanks. I have an early 67 taco 22 cant find the no. my 1970 taco 100 no. is bright and shinny on the left side. I like that. Is the 67 taco 22 in a different place?

I was asking you a question. You implied that you could tell if it was a 44 or 66 from the serial number and I'd like to know how to do that.

I think I found that info on this site first two numbers are year or number 7 is 1967 8 is 1968 9 is a 69 70 is 1970 and so on first letter is type I am new to it too. sorry about the other reply.
