I recently aquired a Taco T1oo @ a yard sale for next to nothing. I'm trying to figure out how to disassemble the front fork springs. I think the bottoms twist off.?
Yup! Right place @ the right time. Next time your @ a garage sale , look straight above you and you'd be amazed what you see in raffters. She wanted her garage clean..........so I helped her.
Oh yeah I forgot, when you unscrew the springs they'll want to tighten (clamp) down on the tube. So try and twist on the very end of the spring. The tubes may be rusted together also, so they may need a good soak in some penetrating oil.
