A few things I have and don't really need.

Tecumseh h50 Throttle linkage $15.00

Briggs 5hp Flywheel Shroud "3-bolt" $30.00

is that shroud when you say 3 bolt 3 bolts on the top?

Three bolts total.

One on top (centered), and two on the bottom sides.

There are 3 bolt, 4 bolt and 5 bolt housings.

5 hp motor i have i need a 5 hole then has 3 on top

mike04 has a 4 hole would that work on the 5 hole the outer bolt measurements are the same 3 1/4 ?

Yeah it should.

A 3 bolt, 4 bolt, and 5 bolt housing, will work on a 4 bolt or 5 bolt setup.

A 4 bolt housing won't work on a three bolt setup.

Now, during the end of the manufacturing of briggs 5HPs, Briggs made the cylinder heads with 3 mounting bolt holes to work with any housing ever made.

If you want to avoid headaches, find a cylinder head with 3 mounting tabs for the flywheel shroud.
