Thirdeye's DB30 rebuild - welded!

#1
So Ive had my db for about 3 years now and the paint was starting to go back to red. So, I decided to tear it down and rebuild it from the ground up! Well, my foot pegs were beat to hell and bent outwards and one of the brackets broke off. So I needed to get some welding done. I ordered up the footprgs from OldMiniBikes and gave the frame to my brother in law who is a union welder so he could weld it up.

Well after a few beers in the garage looking at the frame, we decided to add some more steel and supports to it. The main idea was for the battery plate, but we decided to add some strengthening supports too. It's a bit heavier, but still hauls with the Honda 200 with no governor. Anyway, on with the pics, let me know what yall think!

Thanks guys. My sister works at stone, always hooks up stickers and beer!

Working on the front fender, and some other ideas. Forget to mention I cut off the kickstand bracket, welded and cleaned up.
