Trail Horse /Trail Blazer kickstand

I just realized that the PO cut off the kickstand bracket. Can anyone provide a closeup pic of the kickstand setup?

I looked through the albums but couldn't find a closeup of the kickstand and bracket.

I plan on fabricating a new one, since I will need a longer than stock kickstand.

I had 1/4" and 3/8" steel rod and after thinking about it, just how strong does this need to be? I went with the smaller 1/4" rod.

I left the rod long since I don't know how long it needs to be yet. Guess I should mock this up....

Original kickstand thickness is 1/2''

Center of pivot point to the bend for the foot is 5 5/8''. Seems to work well

Wow! Never would have figured that big. The one on my Super Bronc is 1/2".....

Mine is also suspension, and I am using longer rear shocks, so the kickstand will need to be longer.
