Trying to figure out the year of this skat kitty

Hey guys I've had this skat kitty since I was a kid owned for about 25 years and recently got it refurbished and running again in hopes to sell it. I think it might be a 1965 it has a 288 stamped on rear frame below kick stand any help or guidance would be appreciated!

The engine date code is 337th day of 1963 so its probably 1964 year bike, depending on how they were ordering engines from Tecumseh.

I hope those pictures are before you had it refurbished

If you're feeling adventurous pull the seat off. Both my originals had a date stamped on the bottom, which correlated closely to the date stamp on the motor.

Thanks Mark, yea looks like 1964. It was refurbished in like 2015 but I just got it running again new tires, pull rope, flywheel, points and condenser and carb. Still needs some cosmetic love but runs great now.
