My son never got into the mini bike craze, unfortunately his allergies have directed him to " indoor sports "
I sold my 535, thanks Jim -hope your enjoying it, and bought a VEX robot kit.

I figured this would make for a nice farther son project but he had the thing completely assembled and programed before I even got home from work, like I could have helped with the programing anyway

What do you think though, not bad for a 7 th grader?

That's awesome.

Not all kids enjoy these mini bikes like their dads do.

My hats off to him, I couldn't figure that stuff out either.

That's looks cool, another great project would be 1/10 rc cars and trucks
I built and collected the for years , I used to love opening up a new Tamiya kit just to see all the parts lol

Thanks guys, were really proud of him. He has always been strong with the software side of this but I am glad to see he's getting some hands on figuring motors and gear ratios.

This was a kit. The next one we're going to build is going to be customized to mount a paintball gun to. If all goes as planed it will be able to track and fire on movement automatically, then possibly advance as they retreat. :2guns:
