Unkown mini chopper

#1
I bought this..... what I call a mini
chopper, and it looks like it is a factory
built unit by some of the welds on the
frame. It has been modified by someone
a long while back. If any of you members
have any idea what make/model this is
it would be appreciated, and kindly
thank you in advance.

Note: It is rugged looking in these pics!

Pure Junk from the factory (how do you say factory in Chinese?) but with some imagination, a few cutoff wheels, some grinding, welding, carefully selected parts, paint and it would be much cooler and more fun then walking.

A fellow member stripped a Chinese pocket bike of all the plastic crap and made a decent looking rider. Do what you have to do when pickings are slim.

Post those pics and let's keep this going, flesh it out a little. I've seen a few of these turn up in this (What is it?) subforum over the years and there's some crushed expectations when they learn it's not a U.S. made bike, nor collectable, nor is there any aftermarket support. And yet no one really knows what they are as they can't point to a model name or number.

Until we know more, it's the Gas Chooper YJGS-F03 for now. :p

If the OP's bike is this one, I bet the bike was designed around that engine and almost nothing else will fit in its place except another horizontal cylinder engine of similar displacement.

I agree, it is a decent candidate for a rider. They were originally underpowered and covered with fake plastic stuff, but as stated above, the ugliness can be removed, a decent engine installed and it can be a fun little bike.

I understand what you all are saying.......
just bought it to modify it in our way,
and built a custom bike of some nature,
without cutting up other mini bike frames
that were manufactured here in the USA.
When my brother and I have time, we will post pictures of other bike frames we
own, plus a trike frame. We had a car and truck restoration shop here at one time, and primarily did that, so me and my bro
have alot of experience in this field. I can
post pics of a custom car that my father and us built this car from the ground up. It
has been in at least 3 different magazines.
We have traveled quite a bit of the USA
and bought cars and trucks and mini
bikes etc. I'm 57 and my bro is 62 yo.

Thanks alot to you folks for enlightening
us with this information. I'm not as
smart as you on this stuff! Lol!
