If you think they always work you haven't been threw the Lee or Portsmouth ones. There are cases ware cercles work, they just cant be in high volume intersections. There is one in Rochester, one in rye NH and one in Newburyport Mass that all work nicly but again they are low volume.

There are tons of rotaries all around my area, they have been there forever and they work just fine. Just because 2 of them in new hampshire don't work, doesn't mean they are a bad idea.

Didn't state bad idea I just stated can't handle high volume and are not a one size fits all solution that you can slap down anyware. I did state in some situations they do work I made that abundently clear, I even gave you examples of circles that function correctly because they were used correctly.

What I am saying is in some situations a trafic light can do the job better and we as a nation realy need to look closer at ware these are being placed and how these are being used before installing them and that the two cercles I stated don't work as intended so they should be replaced with lighted multi lane interchanges.

They are showing up everywhere in Michigan.. I have no problem with them....but alot of people can't work them and I'm surprised I don't have a dent from someone else....I think our governor must get a kickback for every one put in.

I drive Tractor Trailer, traffic circles imop are better than a plugged up intersection, all of the TC I've seen have roll over curbing so trailer tires can go over the curb and not blow a tire and they also have inner circle pavers that can handle the weight, if people obey the posted rules of the TC there should be no problem.

Have one in Northern Mi on M30 at M10.... State decided it would look nice to add nice tall landscaping in the middle...Like 5-6 foot tall...couldn't see shit of what was coming around at you... That is until someone drove straight on through it and knocked a truck wide path through it.. LOL... I avoid that thing as much as possible, I just go another route..
