Upgrading springs

Trying to install 26# springs, and having some difficulty compressing enough to get the retainers in. Any suggestions?

I use my fingers? A spring compressor would be the correct way.

Yea, maybe I need more then one set of hands, I haven't been able to hold the spring down far enough with one hand to get the little clips in

We usually use an open end wrench. Press it down with the retainer on and just put the keeper in.

thanks for the tip hooligan, I actually got them on earlier today using a crows foot wrench. It was super easy once I was able to get some leverage on the springs, just took me a bit to figure it all out!
