Vintage HO cars and track

#1
I kinda remember seeing some of you guys talking about Ho cars.:eek:ut: I have 3 cars, track and all the other stuff if you are interested. The track has 1975 printed on it. :eek:ut: The box is rough and the stuff is "used". Selling cheap if anybody is interested. I have had this since I was a kid. Cleaning out the basement. I would like for somebody here to get the stuff instead of some jerk on ebay:laugh: PM me if you are interested. Thank you

That one was a very common track. But nice it is all there still which is nice. The yellow 55 is a common car...unless those are the real flames on it and not painted on.

They are the real flames. It had on the box that the 55 was a special gift with the set. I don't think I painted them on there. I forget, that was about 40 years ago:laugh:

Then that is a real nice car to anyone's collection. They made tons of the plain yellow ones. Another hobby I have done since a very young age...lol.

They look legitimate Karen. I haven't seen one like that but I think I heard of it before. Aurora used to do some things along those lines back in the day to promote the sets and cars. A good friend traded me a Sugar Daddy Datsun years ago and although I think it was a unique color, it came with some sort of stickers as well. The interesting thing about your '55 is that it appears that if those stickers are real, they were really taking cues from Tom Daniel's Badman '55 model from Monogram. The back of it reads Adios Mother! It had 396 decals instead of the 454 but the actual slot car is definitely copied from the model kit or so it appears. Very cool slot car, that deserves to be in somebody's collection! Probably not something that turns up very often.

I just realized that it shows it with the decals on the box. Ha ha! Very cool! I'm sure not a lot of these survived!
