What clutch is this??

I'm trying to identify this Comet clutch so that I can get a cover for it . Please help if you can. Thanks!

Actually it could be an early 30

I've found them bt the lower mounting tabs on mine are very close together. The ones I've seen are about 6 inches apart.

Try and find a part number on the back plate, then go from there.

Thanks again, I'll try. I had it powder coated but I don't remember seeing any numbers on it. I wonder if there is an aluminum after market cover made to fit?

I have one of those on my '70 Roadster... you can't find any mention of them on the Comet-related sites. Perhaps the Rupp TC covers would work? :shrug:

It would be easier to move the tabs then to make a new cover, provided the OEM cover would fit properly.

Its called CAT-99 Comet early style. Uses A 5/8 belt width flat on the back side? Cover is the same on the 30 series as far as I know, but the mounting slots may be different. I may have that cover.
