As another year comes to a close.. Just curious what everyone "invested" there money in this year.
What bikes did you pickup, engines, equipment whatever. The wife was happy I didn't,as she says, waste much this year. You don't have to say how much you "WASTED" if you don't want. I picked up a Fox Thunderbolt for 30 bucks,a mega moto for 50 just for the sunf tires for my son's bike and just got another Roper.i also bought a 1965 Ariens 4hp snowblower for 65 bucks(works perfectly). A pair of tillers at an auction for 5 bucks each, both are 5 briggs and work. Another 2hp tiller to do between the rows in the garden. A silver H50 that runs for 40, a white HS50 that doesn't run for 20,an old reel mower and a 1960 3hp briggs that is stuck. I have picked up some other junk but it was junk.

Just some of the randomness that strayed my way this past year..

The moderators on the snowmobile forum said “there is no direct mikuni swap on the rockwell 400’s” A forum post from 2008 listed a out of stock amazon link to an adapter that might work. The adapters were $99 on eBay shipped from Australia.

Light filing on the ears of the adapter and it fit like it was made for it. vm32 fit and ran so well.. there was no primer system like a normal snowmobile has just blocked off ports. once primed it would start instantly and would rev hard. Edit : first picture is almost complete.. Still need a big tube exhaust sidecover and some dynocam Springs. everything else is ready to go.

Got the Wifey a bigger Li pack for her Mini.
It's a 48 volt ''13s - 6p'',, with ''78'' - 21700 size cells,, & has around ''actual'' 30ah capacity.
Pretty much the same size cells as in the ''EGO'' outdoor power equipt. stuff,, but ''a lot'' more of them,, per pack. ;)

Merry Christmas everyone !! :)

Not much for me, just an HS50 snowblower engine a 4.00-6 tire that I’ve been looking for. I spent too much money on other items for this house, so it cut down on my hobby purchases this year.

Dude!! You've got to get your priorities in order. Since when does taking care of the homefront come before the indulging in your next mini bike fix. Next time you get a leaky roof or broken window get a bucket or duct tape and saran wrap so you can save that money for the next mini bike opportunity that comes along.

I paid $100 The previous owner had never heard it run he bought new coils and duel points setup because it was only ”Sparking” on one cylinder.

I filed the points and swapped on the vm34 and it was unbelievably powerful. Would blow the tires off in the cornfields without trying. very dangerous no breaks. I sold it after getting it rideable.

Edit: I so badly wanted to get the steering fixed and throw boggers on it. The t/q sprocket was 520 chain and I intended to gear it so it would tac into the red but only go 10mph. I had big wasteland buggy plans.. Final edit: The kayuna ccw fella’s know what mikuni‘s work on there 440‘s I bought a vm32 setup for a kayuna 440 so it ran this 400 well. At WOT it made a noise I will forever miss.
