I'm gonna guess a 1972 3hp or 5hp briggs.

72 Briggs 5 horse.. Thats what the shroud says anyways.. From the looks of things it probably belongs on the engine so it's most likely correct.. Either way, from like 69 to 89 they are all essentially the same engine. Hella good motors.. :thumbsup:
