It does look like a Boonie frame, but the rest is all custom, I think.
The handlebars are nice.

It's a Boonie, or a Heald VT1 with cut up, modded original forks. Can't see the rear axle mounts too well, I'm thinking there was a difference...

My money it's a Heald VT-1.
Boonie bikes had 7/8" tubing, and a shorter rear fender. Heald VT-1 had 1" tubing and the rear fender went all the way to the motor plate.

I was leaning toward VT1... someone needs to go get that and save it! those are kinda rare...I belive one year only....1969?

Somewhere around there. I have a one owner (technically three, my buddy bought it from the original owner then sold it to me) with the original receipt and it's dated 1970. None of the brochures/manuals that came with it are dated though.
I'd happily sell it, as I never use it.
