thanks Karen and HP.the red is not as dark as the frame but it is just a base.going to try a heavy flake with the clear.

old skool flake job

sprayed on the flake today.started with the largest red flake I could get
then 3 coats clear with some candy red with smaller prismatic flake
then 10 coats of clear.

3 hours later

these pictures really don't do it justice.i'll get some out in the sun after it's dry.came out pretty darn good for my first time.still have to color sand and buff
