I am rebuilding an old briggs 80202 model, type 1101-01 3 hp engine. I am having a hard time figuring out which gasket set will fit as i cant find parts directly for the 80202. would the 80202 technically be a part of the 80200 series...

Hi All I have a 1979 Briggs and Stratton 3hp 80202 engine. I have drained the old oil out, as there is no dip stick how do I know how much oil to put back in. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Malcolm.

The engine starts up just fine but at any throttle setting it pulses. Even at idle and it starts to run rich with black smoke. The needle valve and seat are not perfect. They should be replaced. Who would have the parts? Thank you.

new here i just bought this engine It appears to have been bolted to a board its whole life. This is backed up by the clear window in its oil pan The engine code is model 80202 type 0016 01 Anyone know what vintage this engine is? Best place to find rebuild tune up parts?

I picked up a Mini Bike with a Briggs 80202 engine on it and was wondering if anyone knows where to find a carb diagram as there are springs and wires all over it afer years of modifications. I believe the carb is a Briggs #495459. Also any info on the engine would be great as well.:shrug...
