Was wondering what length Bullet rod I need to buy to fit properly & Flywheel ....Also the carb that's on my brigs is jetted for alcohol So what would be a Stock carb that fits the 5hp? Or a good Aftermarket carb Just don't want to order the wrong stuff thanks

I just have a few questions...recently bought a 5Hp Alky Brigs ....guy said the head was milled 10 over and had a racing cam inside...runs on Juice it has been sitting for a long time guy said it's brand new.....But my questions are whats the Power range of a 5hp alcohal motor? And also...

I have a 1938 Briggs model A bone stock. Every now an then I fire it up stand around it with some buddy's and drink beer it fires up first pull and it is all there. Does any buddy know how much something like this is worth?

I found this engine on cl and got it today for 40 bucks it has an 11 tooth 35 sprocket on the clutch it starts right up and idles and revs up pretty good something looks wrong with the linkage on the carb the guy said it was a 4hp but hes not sure hes had it a long time i couldnt find any...

I need a motor for my tote gote. If you have a small mount patern motor 6 or 8 HP great. if it has electrical better. I will sell or trade 100 bucks or offers. I would rather get a motor in trade.

hi i was wondering about a brigs animal vs a clone with all the new parts. what would be the good points and the bad points of a animal? i see some for under $500.00 new. im not stepping on toes just a friendly topic to discuss.

i got two brigs flat heads 5 hp one runs ones for parts. can send pics all stock will trade for jack shaft set up or something else just let me know i also have a running tec 5 hp

2 speed heathkit converted to manual shift. (stop to shift) 5 hours brigs and stration flat head. 1st gear about 18mph 2nd gear about 30mph. i don't have the ski for it though.

my dad just found a brigs 8hp with electric starter/alternator . its the kind that is mounted up high on a bracket..... tryin to get some infoon it........wut it mite be worth if any one has seen 1 like it trying to get pics uploded

does anyone know the clearances on a ohv brigs lawn mower engine I tried the repair shop but couldn't help me I'm not shure what horse power it is I have #'s

i have a briggs i belive its a 3hp pullout choke and all that jazz model # is 80202 it was running funny and i tried adjusting the screw on the carb and now it always bogs out at high speeds how can i fix this or where can i find the factory default setting on the screw?
