Does anyone know what to do with the port on the stock air filter assembly on the predator 212? I replaced the gas tank with one that doesn’t have the breather hose the old one had so now there’s an open port on the air filter box. should i just plug it or leave it be?

OK, I got one with RUST in it, i put crushed stone and BB's in it shook it, got all the loose stuff out, nothing else would come out with whatever I tried= BUT i have heard of a chemical treatment that seals the rust in such a rusty tank, kinda epoxy stuff- HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF THIS?? or...
