handlebar

I want to but a big 'ole pair of ape hangers on my hawg-ty but it dosen't have the goose-neck style piece to attatch the bars to the fork. Would a riser like the heat/carbon work or would I do better welding a bmx goose-neck & useing that?

I hesitated on buying a pair that I saw on ebay recently and I should not have because I need a pair. Any info. or leads would be great. I will drill into the MX forks if I have to to make some work, but I don't want to do that if I don't have to. Thanks.

Anyone know if the handlebar U-bolts are welded to the handlebars from the factory?

What is a good solution when the knurling on the handlebars does not match the spacing on the handlebar clamps? Anyone come up with a solution to keep the bars from rotating? Thanks
