I've noticed that my Greyhound 6.5 engine is burning a little rich at my 8,000 foot elevation. The engine never bogs down and response of the throttle is very fast. No backfire.
The spark plug is black at the electrode and the exhaust pipe is as well.

My CS 6.5HP clone runs lean and needs to be choked nearly every time I start it.
I've heard they run much better with fatter jets in them.
I also if richer jets will allow it to start better without having to use the dang choke
(even when warmed up).

at the moment i have a 72 tooth sprocket on my bike (keystone deluxe) and a roughly 12" diameter tire. it just seems a little close to the ground sometimes, especially if i lean in to a left turn. maybe a 60 tooth would be better in my case. any suggestions?

I have a Honda Gx200 carb .670 max bore with 140 emulsion tube , .020 pilot jet & 98 main jet. How do I lean it out at high Rpm? Change the emulsion tube? I don't want to change it from the snap of the throttle.
