got my 6.5 clone installed- how long do I run the break in oil before changing it? I did dump out the shipping oil first before I ran it the first time- put some 10W-30 in there just for the break in period- I plan to run Mobil 1 fulltime once the break in period is over...

Just recieved a new flathead tec 5 hp. for my tt500. Its a snowblower type with a long dip stick tube sticking straight up and it just barley slips in the frame. Question??? Can i shorten it,,if so how? Are what are my alternitives?? thanks pete

i'm thinking about taking the 30 series TAV off my Bird Duck and sticking it on the 5.5 in my DB (mods in sig). do you guys think it will last very long? would it grenade itself right away or maybe last for several hours of riding?

Got a lot of chain here on this one, you can see why a jackshaft is used. The chain has to be extremely tight as it sets, so once you sit on it and load the suspension it isn't flopping around like crazy. Anyone ever put a floating idler on one of these? Need to come up with a better chain guard...
