I'm working on what appears to be a Chinese mini chopper, recently the back brake pads fell off of the shoe (they weren't adhered to the shoe) and cracked. Any ideas where I can get new pads for them? Looked just to buy the whole shoe, but none of them online match up with what I need.
Thanks!
Ran my mbx10 at the 1/8 mile track and only ran a 12.4 @55.xx. I know I'm heavy (250+lbs) but my bike doesn't launch real hard with my mongrel clutch, it really feels like it needs to engage at a higher rpm. I was wanting to know if it would probably knock some time off if I switched to a disk...
And tails...... Cats play with the weirdest stuff.. who has a plastic milk cap circle on the floor somewhere, because it entertains the cat all day?? :stuart:

The assembly on the left has no shoe material or steel support block. It is also straight. The assembly on the right has the shoe and support block but the block has been ground to a radius. Other pictures of these assemblies show the support block much thicker. Note how the block on this one...
The assembly on the left has no shoe material and the lever arm is straight. The one on the right has shoe material but it appears the lever arm may have been ground down to form a radius. This may have been new this way or it was re-lined with new brake material.

Has a real coarse looking woven lining on them...

if you get a bottle of Kiwi scuff cover and brush a thin coat on with a cheapy 1" foam brush it will look like crap but if you keep brushing it on after several coats it will look like this keep in mind that it wont stick as well as paint but it is flexible cheaper than paint and easy to touch...
My Skat Kitty has the rear drum brake. The brake shoe has very little material left. It probly has enough, but I would prefer like to get it re-lined. Anybody know where I can have this done? I highly doubt I can find a nos 4" brake shoe that fits. If so, I have 2 shoes to get re-lined.
