I have the chain guard, but I have to make some mounts. Runs really good. Happy about that. (Because with my limited knowledge, I should be sending engines to the shop) :laugh:

Thank you friends for the nice comments. With this bike, I didn't want to "over restore" and even contemplated keeping it as received, just cleaning up. I didn't mention it earlier when I was rebuilding the engine, but I ground off that compression release lobe 180 out from the exhaust lobe. Found the information herein. I thought, "what the heck, it's another cam if it doesn't work." :wink: It does. (so far)
