I am currently working on a vitnage mini bike project and I want to fit a 6.5hp clone into the frame with very limited space, but I want to keep the tank on the motor. I know a 4hp honda tank will fit onto the 6.5hp and clear the frame, but I don't want to spend extra cash if I don't have to. I have seen a 5.5hp honda (with tank) in a frame like mine but I want to use a 6.5hp. Are the 5.5hp honda and 6.5hp clone motors the same in size such as height and width, and length? I think the tank on the 5.5hp is smaller but not sure about the rest.
