I noticed in another persons Alsport that there was an extra sprocket that seemed to act as a chain tensioner. Mine has a bracket in that location but no extra sprocket in that location. Now, on my jackshaft itself, there is an extra sprocket that I can't figure out what it's purpose would be. Thanks for the help.

Your "extra" sprocket looks like it has worn teeth and was probably just moved over instead of being removed. Is it worn or just a different tooth count? ... Spare part. Its out of the way. Doesnt look like it was set up for dual chains or anything so I wouldn't worry about it. Or it was used in place of a collar.

Idler sprocket, yes that's what I'm missing. I believe your correct and someone just slid it over instead of removing it. Teeth are pretty bad on it. Thanks for your help.
