I've noticed several pics of briggs animal engines with torque converters bolted on at angles other than level, Is there a clearance problem between the two that requires the torque converter to be installed other than level?
I've used mine in a DB30 frame and needed the angle to fit in the frame . I love these motors ! Mine runs Extremely hard ! Easy to get Race parts for too !
so if frame clearace isn't an issue, it should bolt up nice and level without the rear bearing boss of the torque converter contacting any part of the engine? The reason I ask is the length of the rear bearing support and the angle of the cylinder.
